đĨABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, Iâm Sonny! Iâm from the US but currently call Vietnam home. Iâve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.
If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

đAwesome! đ those noodles look yummy.
I don't watch many food shows, but when I do I only watch the best
I want to travel like you so much boss
Your videos over-emphasize the weird and exotic.
I have travelled in more than a dozen Asian countries. Especially SE Asia including two long trips in last five years. I have eaten street and market food from Hue to Flores and from Bengkulu to Luang Prabang. But I have never knowingly eaten pangolin, rat, snake, testicles, tripe or bat.
I say 'knowingly' since the most common thing that I have ordered is some version of the local fried rice or noodle soup with little idea of what the exact ingredients were.
I have also eaten fried chicken in Malaysia, burgers in Java and fried potatoes almost everywhere. (Just like the locals do).
I would love to see more videos on what the common people eat.
When the war ended in VN 1975, North Vietnamese government came in Saigon and like let us take care of everything in your life. Suddenly, we were in line in the morning a loaf of bread. Our little shop was taxed 100%. I left the country. I'm glad to see people there have more foods now. The return of US assistance works.
You should try coming to Guam. I think you would enjoy our food.
The food is definitely beautiful!
Please post video of vegan food!

I've learned a lot unfamiliar American-ism from Sonny – noods… animal-ly… pork-y
What do they'd with the good cuts of meat in Vietnam, everyone is always just eating intestines, tong, stomach, and other weird parts.
Did anyone else notice that the Black Chef had a sign that said BALCK CHEF?
I would like to learn more about hokien noodles.

Pancurious is when you are not pansexual, but you are curious.
Lol
Im a VNese but I cant handle Mam Tom (shrimp paste) and Blood cake in this BUN RIEU -Crab noodle. Seems like southern ppp eat blood cakes more than other region.. I live in the north and I dont see blood cakes in noodles. However I do eat Mam Tom in BUN DAU MAM TOM (Tofu with Shrimp paste and Vermicelli).. very delicious.. provided that you dont eat it (shrimp paste) raw.. you have to mix it well with other spices and juice to make it a wonderful sauce.
By the way have you tried Bun Tom, Bun Ca, Bun Oc, Banh Canh, Bun Suon, Bun Moc, Bun Thang, Bun bo Nam Bo, Bun Mam, Mien xao Cua, Mien xao Luon, Mien Ngan, Mien Ga, Bun Ngan, Banh Da Cua, Bun bo Hue… oh.. much more but I dont remember.
what about the wihte chef?
These videos are always interesting to see what other countries eat.
Hahaha âThe Biggest Bone Iâve ever hadđąđąđą
Have a chance cross the border to Phnom Penh, there are more varieties of noodles. Especially the flying noodles is one of signature of Phnom Penh noodles
