Never trust a cook that doesn't eat their own food.

Did not know that curry was popular in Jamaica. Lived in Japan and I loved the curry over there. I know there are differences in curry powders depending on the region you're in. Has anyone experienced the Jamaican curry and if so does the curry powder they use have its own unique flavor.

D-Fenz on July 31, 2021

Btw, saw the comment from Toronto 🇨🇦. Just about every ethnicity is represented in Toronto, food wise. Eglington west, Carribean ( Jamaican) , downtown , original China town, Bay Dundas and Spadina and pretty much every where else, just look for the Peking duck hanging in the window. Bathurst, Jewish deli's everywhere. Roncesvalles polish and Ukrainian , everywhere, best place to get kalbassa. Danforth, a zillion Greek restaurants. East Gerrard Street curry to die for. West St Claire St serious Italian, plus Vaughn. As for the rest of Toronto 🇨🇦 hot roasted chestnuts on most corners downtown. Oh ya, Bathurst Steeles area "Russian Ghetto" best borsht in town.

Jon Anderson on January 19, 2022

Born and raised in Toronto, moved way north, but have probably eaten in most of the decent restraunts in the city.
Some still exist some not.
Last reference, house of bangtock . Downtown , Alexander Street I believe. May not still be there. Anyhoot ,Thai food . Probably the most gorgeous restaurant I've ever experienced, and I do get around, worldwide. On my own dime. Anyhoot , this little place for nosh always in my memoirs actually had a river running threw the establishment with a small bridge to cross over. Small suggestion , never order wine with Thai food, just enhances the heat.
Cheers to all my simple guide to gastronomy, in Toronto 🇨🇦.

Jon Anderson on January 19, 2022

Possibly last comment.
As the CN TOWER is a huge tourist draw in Toronto, suggest avoiding their rotating restaurant, the food is subpar. If you're looking for a decent meal and the best Martini's on the planet , Harbor Castle, right on the water, classic table service , serious pros . Plus thier top of the hotel rotates as well.
Ok that's it, expect a response from all Monday morning , double spaced, no red pens and absolutely no plagerizing.

Bam Bam on January 26, 2022

Ground coffee ? I gotta try this

Tyler Hughes on February 5, 2022

We just not gonna talk about the jerk chicken at 1:11 is bleeding raw? It's still clucking.
